The views along the Sorrento and Amalfi coast are particularly well-known for their clarity and brilliance and for their distinct, bright, contrasting colours, and certainly from the garden of Villa Lubretti you can admire one of the most harmonious views of the Sorrento coast and of the gulf of Naples. The villa lies about 2 kms from Massa Lubrense, a village known not only for its history but also for its production of olive oil. Villa Lubretti spreads onto a large terracing with a view of the sea, full of flowers and fruit trees, and the outside area is furnished with a covered, shady veranda and with a perfectly equipped open-air kitchen: with hobs, barbecue, wood-burning oven and a ceramic table from Vietri, and guests have the exclusive use of a 3x6m above-ground swimming-pool. The interior furnishings consist of valuable furniture with some antiques, all perfectly maintained and of excellent taste. The villa also has many accessories: dishwasher, laundry with washing-machine, telephone and TV. The more interesting towns are all within easy reach: Sorrento is about 9 kms away, Naples 60 kms, Positano 10 kms. At Massa Lubrense or at S. Agata dei Due Golfi you will find general food shops, banks and post offices. The beach and Marina di Puolo is just 3 kms away and can be reached in ten minutes by car. There are many nearby restaurants where you can try the excellent local cuisine, and some of them are considered to be among the best in Italy.
