Messayais Cottages are stone built holiday cottages located in the countryside, set in landscaped and floral surroundings, with views all around of the lush local countryside.
The cottages have original beamed ceilings and exposed stonework and share the use of a large splash pool (June - August).
They make an excellent touring base for visiting both Normandy and Brittany; Mont St Michel is within easy reach, as are the popular resorts of Cancale and Granville, not to mention some of the First and Second World War cemeteries and memorials.
Fougères with its wonderful medieval castle is really worth a visit. After a day sight seeing, cycling or walking, you will enjoy coming back for a quiet evening in this lovely setting and a dip in the splash pool.
