Gentle steps and walkways lead down from the house to the mosaic tiled infinity pool with hydro massage area, and terracotta paved solarium furnished with ample wrought iron and teak sun beds. Adjacent to the pool there is a south -westerly facing pool loggia equipped for dining and relaxing and a BBQ area. The views from the gardens and pool over the countryside are simply magnificent. The majority of the gardens with lavender, cypresses, rosemary and other aromatic shrubs are laid to lawn with ample space for energetic little ones to let off steam and play games! The views are simply spectacular, an idyllic 360 degree panorama of olive groves, woodland, cypresses, cornfields, lakes and distant villages.
Set in the very heart of Tuscany, the art centres of Florence, Siena and Lucca are within easy reach while close at hand are the evocative hill towns of San Gimignano, San Miniato and the spa town of Gambassi. Keen walkers will enjoy strolling through the glorious landscape leading from Casa Stefano to neighbouring hamlets.
Guests are looked after by the English-speaking manager who works tirelessly to ensure your stay is memorable and happy. She is delighted to give advice and make bookings for local restaurants, shopping and sightseeing and golf courses. Visits to historic gardens and villas rarely open to the public, guided tours, visits to vineyards and olive oil mills can also be arranged. A most comfortable base for touring at any time of year.
