The accommodation, on three floors, sleeps 5 in one double and 2 singles + a full sized single put-me-up bed. There are two bathrooms.
Modern, crisp and fresh are good words to describe this convenient pied-à-terre in a quiet Chelsea street. South Kensington tube station (District, Circle and Piccadilly lines) and Sloane Square (District and Circle lines) are both within 5 minutes walk. You are just off the buzzy Kings Road but tucked away in a row of neat Victorian terraced cottages. The house is decorated and furnished in traditional style with a light modern touch - especially the art and ornaments.
The front door opens into the semi open plan ground floor. This good sized space (27ft6 x 14ft, 8.4m x 4.3m) contains distinctly separate living and dining areas. The living area has two 2 seater sofas, a leather reclining arm chair, coffee table, side lights, stereo with classical and pop CDs, and TV+VCR. A working log-effect gas fire adds a cosy touch in winter.
The adjoining dining area seats 6 on well dressed chairs around an elegant modern table set on attractive wooden parquet flooring.
This gives out to a small internal patio area bringing a touch of greenery and additional light into the house. The kitchen which also overlooks this patio is clean and compact with all the expected appliances, including dishwasher, microwave and washer/dryer.
On the first floor are two good sized single bedrooms, both with lots of cupboard space. They share a bathroom with bath + over shower, basin and loo. A full sized put-me-up bed can comfortably accommodate a 5th person.
The master bedroom (14ft x 9ft6, 4.25m x 2.95m) has a 6 ft bed and its own en-suite bathroom with bath, separate power shower, basin and loo. An added plus in hot weather is that this bedroom has air conditioning.
