This 18th-century thatched whitewashed cottage is an ideal base for touring the Ring of Kerry, one of the most scenic drives in all of Ireland. The cottage enjoys a beautiful and peaceful setting, complete with a stream in the garden. It is within 12 miles of the Atlantic coast and Tralee, the thriving capital of County Kerry. Also close by is Killarney, with its famous national park. Within a two-minute walk is Kearneys, the local grocery store. The 12th-century market town of Castleisland is just 3 miles away and has many shops, pubs, and restaurants. This charming cottage is the perfect place to call home while exploring Kerry. The cottage offers a large, open but cozy feeling and includes 3 very comfortable bedrooms (2 double, 1 single loft bedroom); 1 bathroom; living room (where you can relax while enjoying the views of the emerald green hills); large dining room with an antique Irish farm table that seats up to eight and a cast-iron oil burning stove which adds even more character; and fully equipped kitchen with views of the main garden.
