This is a most romantic gothic castle, complete with battlements, spiral staircases and vaulted ceilings, set in the farmland of County Limerick close to a river (on which it has private salmon fishing) and a Golf Course.
Off the front hall is a dining room which seats 10 diners for a formal dinner, with a well fitted kitchen / breakfast room beyond it with informal dining for 10 people. A drawing room leads into a cosy library/games room which can also serve a small conference or meeting room for up to 25 theatre style.
A spiral staircase leads from the games room to a large double bedroom.
Up the main spiral staircase there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with tub and shower, the other with shower only.
On the top floor of the tower is another double bedroom. There is an additional shower room & w.c. on the ground floor.
The house has been completely renovated over the last 4 years, and while losing none of the romance of the days of chivalry has completely eradicated those little medieval faults such as spiders and draughts!
