The delightful village of St-Avit-Sénieur with its beautiful 11th century Benedictine abbey is a short drive away and there are many other medieval bastide towns in this wine-tasting region of the Dordogne.
There are tennis courts at Belvès, horse riding and bicycle hire are available 10km away at Alès and Monpazier. Swimming is possible in the Dordogne River (8km).
