Cool cream fabrics and marble floors set the scene in the stylish sitting room which forms the hub of this sea front house. The room looks out to a covered terrace, comfortably furnished in cane, which, in turn, takes your gaze to the swimming pool – floodlit at night. From the poolside, lawned gardens sweep down to beach level, where a shower and loo, barbecue and sitting area are privately screened with palm thatch, and the grounds are gated by the sands of a sheltered beach. The house itself provides adaptable accommodation, with en suite bathroom to each of the four main bedrooms. A fifth twin bedroom, off the games room, also has its own small shower room and could be useful for a nanny or for teenagers. The house also has a games room, with ping-pong and pool table, where two bunk-beds (at extra cost) may come in handy for large family gatherings. Note: There is no access to the first floor of Villa Trainha, which is kept locked.
