These two villas are two newly built villas set in a quiet area of Gennadi, around 17km south of Lindos, within their own gardens, with sea views. The properties are not difficult to spot as their unique design and coloring is completely different from most other buildings in the area! The owner was inspired by the Dutch architect Hundertwasser of whom he is a great fan.
The villas are adjacent to one another, within a common garden area, which also features a barbecue area and private parking. The villas comprise identical accommodation and facilities but one features bright primary color and the other more muted tones. The villas are around 1km from Gennadi village and 800m from Gennadi beach, which is renowned for its clear water and unspoiled beaches.
In each case the ground floor houses a fully equipped kitchen, including dishwasher and washing machine. The spacious living areas, which are light and airy, feature TVs, music systems and one even has an electric keyboard. They also incorporate dining areas with table and chairs. The bathroom on the ground floor has WC and bath/shower.An unusual staircase leads to the fully air-conditioned first floor, which includes 3 double bedrooms (1 double, 2 twins and the two front bedrooms have balconies with sea views), a bathroom with WC and bath/shower. A mezzanine area above the hallway has been adapted to be use for sleeping 1 or 2 children
These villas are the ideal option for those who really want to "switch off". The garden boasts a table tennis table and basketball area and the sea is within easy reach but we would recommend car hire for those holidaying here, enabling them to enjoy the restaurants and bars in nearby Gennadi. The seafront fish tavernas and traditional eating-places along the beach provide ample variety for those who would rather not cook whilst on holiday.
