Villa Balindos nestles in a quiet backwater of the Kanapitsa Peninsula with wonderful sea views across the pinewoods and lake and direct access to the large sandy Vromolimnos beach, one of the most attractive on the island.
Situated on the hillside above the beach, the villa is not overlooked and has dramatic views of the pine fringed beach and across the sea to Evia. A pathway below the villa leads to the beach in five minutes. The long sandy beach has two tavernas, a bar and a water sports centre. Balindos offers privacy and comfort yet is ideal for enjoying the beach facilities.
A comfortable and spacious home furnished with flair by the owner with lots of personal touches that give it a “lived in” feeling. The property is very well furnished and equipped.
The entrance hall gives access to the lounge and kitchen and off to one side there is a cloakroom with basin and w.c. The well equipped kitchen has a washing machine, fridge freezer, marble sink, full cooker, iron and board and extensive storage and work surfaces. There is a dining area equipped for six people.
The sitting room has built in sofas, a fireplace, coffee table and TV. French windows from both areas lead onto the upper terrace with canvas easy chairs and a marble topped table. To one side is the shady courtyard with dining facilities for six and a barbecue.
Stone flagged steps lead down to the bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed (views of the sea from the bed) with French windows onto the large terrace. There is a large wardrobe and dressing table.
There are two single beds in the second bedroom, side tables and a large wardrobe. The bathroom has a shower stall, w.c. and basin. The very large lower terrace is furnished with sun loungers, tables and chairs. From both terraces you have wonderful views to the sea and this makes a great spot to relax and unwind.
